JUVE recommendation for DREISS

JUVE is considered one of the most important industry guideposts in the German legal sector, especially in patent law. As in previous years, the DREISS team is rated strongly in the JUVE Ranking 2021 both in the area of contentious proceedings (Litigation) and in the area of application proceedings (Patent Filing). This good result in both areas, despite the adversities of the Corona crisis, underlines the esteem in which our clients are held and shows that DREISS, in addition to the classic all-round support of its core clientele of medium-sized companies, is also gladly brought on board for visceral litigation proceedings of international groups in Germany and abroad. Of course, each of our clients benefits from the experience gained by the younger lawyers in our team.

DREISS Partner Langöhrig Appointed Judge at the Senate for Patent Attorney Cases of the Munich Higher Regional Court

Angelika Langöhrig has been an honorary judge at the patent attorney division of the Munich Regional Court for many years and has now been appointed to the corresponding senate of the Higher Regional Court in Munich. The patent attorney cases panels deal with questions of professional law, which are defined by the professional code of conduct of German patent attorneys. Honorary commitment, such as that of Angelika Langöhrig, has a long tradition in the DREISS law firm. Partners of the firm are and have been involved, among other things, in the field of training patent attorney assistants and patent attorney candidates as well as in the field of the Chamber of Patent Attorneys and in technical committees of relevant professional associations. Our firm sees these important activities not only as cultivating the profession of patent attorney per se, but we also use them to maintain a strong network with domestic and foreign colleagues in the interest of our clients.
